North Bay Telescope

The North Beach is quiet and sandy, a family beach backed by hills and cliffs, with the castle dominating the skyline overlooking the beach. The Sea Life Centre is two minutes walk to the north and five minutes' walk from Peasholm Park.

Surfing

Scarborough's North Beach offers fantastic opportunities for surfing some really good waves. If you are not a seasoned surfer but would like to give it a try then why not get some lessons from one of Scarborough's Surf Schools.

Beach Fishing

Fishing from the sands either in the North or South Bays can yield billet, codling, flatfish, whiting and mackerel and is better at low tide.
