The Coble Landing

There is a working inner harbour with a small fishing fleet and outer harbour and marina for pleasure craft.

Scarborough's Lifeboats

The Scarborough lifeboat station is open to visitors and is one of the oldest stations in the UK and Republic of Ireland and was founded in 1801. The station was taken over by the RNLI in 1861.

The station is currently home to an all weather Mersey Class Lifeboat called Fanny Victoria Wilkinson & Frank Stubbs as well as an Inshore "D" Class Lifeboat called John Wesley Hillard II.

Fishing on the West Pier

Suitable for ‘new’ anglers and children. Fishing on to mainly sandy bottom. The main catches are billet, codling, with whiting and mackerel in season.
